Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I sincerely hope that 2016 has started off well for you and in this post, I will be sharing on 2 keys to make 2016 your best year yet.
Towards the end of 2015, the Lord really began impressing these two qualities on my heart.
I strongly felt that He was challenging my heart to rise and grasp the fullness of all that He has for His church.
I hope this post stirs up faith in your heart to believe God for the promises over your life.
The relentless heart has a holy dissatisfaction, a holy discontentment that longs to display the fullness and greatness of God in its generation.
It’s not enough we hear a nice sermon and sing a few peppy songs in our Sunday services, we must see God in our midst.
It’s not enough to see headaches and neck soreness healed, when we read all through the scripture that Jesus healed them all.
We must persist to see the church as the greatest healing mobilizer in our generation where ALL sickness, ailments and even death is challenged and defeated daily.
I can list several such promises the church has inherited because of the cross of Jesus Christ, but I will end this section by saying- The promises of God are not for the passive.
It is true we cannot earn the promises of God, they are acts of grace, but they are not cheap. We have to be relentless in our pursuit of God to see the promises become a reality.
Be relentless about seeing God manifest in His fullness in and through your life.
If everyone decides to wait for ideal circumstance to achieve their goals and dreams, nothing would ever get done.
It is a risk because things are not ideal and favourable, but we do it anyway because we believe in what we are pursuing.
I’m tired of people talking big and living small. Faith without works is dead.
Faith that is motivated by love will never see a shut door from heaven.
There is something about taking risks that brings heaven’s resources within reach. When we take steps of faith to further God’s kingdom, He is always faithful to come through.
I hope that this post has been a blessing to you, and I hope that you will relentlessly pursue the blessing that God has in store for you this 2016.
With that thought in mind, I wish each of you a great year.
